Mark leads Energybackers across the Americas and has been a partner in the business since 2020. He is Founder & CEO of Fortior Ventures, a UK and US energytech advisory firm that guides management teams and funds on commercialization and investment, and co-founder of Moblyze, the digital talent marketplace for the global energy sector.
Previously he was CEO of Allrig Group, a global asset management services provider to the energy sector, and Executive Partner at private investment firm AEA Investors. Mark is a GlobalScot international business ambassador for Scotland and a University of Strathclyde graduate.

Andrew leads Energybackers outside the Americas and has been with the business since 2017, becoming Executive Director in 2019 and Managing Partner in 2025. He has spent his career financing renewable and low-carbon energy, connecting climate and cleantech ventures with venture capital, corporate, impact and government funders.
He previously headed Scottish Enterprise's £103m Renewable Energy Investment Fund, backing marine and community energy projects, and was Chief Investment Officer at DP Energy, structuring finance for a c.AUS$700m hybrid wind, solar and storage park in South Australia. Andrew sits on the board of South of Scotland Enterprise and founded Deja Blue Consulting.
